Fish Labels
When you're shopping for fish and seafood, how can you distinquish between what are reliable claims on labels from those that can't be counted on? Scroll through the images below of claims you are likely to see. "Verified" indicates that a third-party certifier has ensured that the claims are true. "Not verified but well defined" indicates that the label claims haven't been checked by a third-party certifier but are detailed, clear and meaningful. "Not reliable" means just that—the label has not been verified by a third party and its claims are vague or meaningless.
